Office 365 refers to a group of software and service subscriptions offered by Microsoft. The Office 365 license provides current Ohio State students and employees with access to Office 365 ProPlus services, including:
· The ability to download and locally install Microsoft Office applications on up to five (5) computers

Microsoft 365 allows the Ohio State community to collaborate through one cloud platform delivering a wide range of productivity apps. Access email, store and share files, communicate with your coworkers or students, schedule meetings, track your to-do lists and more by integrating applications and downloading them on up to five devices. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MoreAs a student at Ohio State, you get free access to Microsoft Office products through Office 365. That means Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. You’ll also have 1 TB of storage on OneDrive. The Ohio State University may monitor use of these information systems without notice. Unauthorized disclosure of information, or evidence of unauthorized use may be subject to administrative action, civil action, and/or criminal prosecution.
· One (1) terabyte of cloud storage through OneDrive for Business
· Online versions of the Office applications
· Mobile applications where you can access, edit, and view Office documents on mobile devices
· Regular access to the latest software updates.
Office 365 also includes other productivity services that are enabled over the internet (cloud services).
Active employees who attempt to install Office 365 ProPlus will be prompted for an Office 365 login. Employees must use their lastname.#@osu.edu and Ohio State password.

After installation, Microsoft will verify the Office 365 account in the background. Users will also be prompted to re-authenticate their license every time their Ohio State password changes and also at other various timeframes. Failure to do so will result in the installed software reverting to 'read-only' status, and the user will lose access to OneDrive and mobile applications.

What do I need to do to be eligible to participate in the OSU Incentive program?

OSU Microsoft 365 eligibility requirements
FastTrack Ready Eligibility To earn within the FastTrack program partners must meet separate FastTrack eligibility requirements and be invited to the FastTrack Ready program. Partners who achieve the eligibility requirements may be invited by Microsoft to join the Program. Such invitation will be at Microsoft’s sole discretion taking into consideration partner’s level of performance against the eligibility requirements, partner location, partner expertise, and program capacity. Is there a deadline to enroll?
No, but you will not begin to earn incentives until you have completed the entire onboarding process (including bank and tax submission and approval by Microsoft).
What are OSU Incentives based on?
OSU Incentives are based on active entitlements/active users which is different from deployed seats. Please refer to “Incentive structure and rates” section of the OSU Incentive guide for more information on how usage is defined for each product.

How do I update my bank and tax profiles?

What is the minimum threshold?
Partners need to accumulate a minimum of $200USD (or partner country billing currency equivalent), to receive the payment.
What are the Maximum earning limits?
For OSU Business Applications, Partners can earn up to an incentives maximum cap, limited to USD 100,000 per product (for example: Dynamics 365 Power BI are two distinct products) within an agreement per partner organization from October 1, 2019.
For OSU Microsoft 365, there is no maximum earning limit.
I have been designated as the Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) and I have fulfilled all eligibility requirements, when will I expect to see earnings for the subscription?
The snapshot will be captured on the last day of each month. If you are attached and meet eligibility requirements prior to the snapshot date for that month, the earnings for the subscription will be included in the statement that will be published within the first three weeks of the month following the snapshot date.
I see my earnings, but I did not receive the payment, why?

All incentives are disbursed monthly and paid 45 days after the end of the month in which incentives are calculated. Please check your payment report for payment details such as the payment date and payment reference.

Please make sure that you have the satisfied the eligibility requirements and the necessary competency requirements relating to the specific product and that the product is included in Online Services Usage Rate Card. Also, make sure that you have met the Partner of Record (POR) requirements for the subscription and have satisfied all related Proof of Execution (POE) requirements. If all eligibility criteria have been met but you do not see earnings, please submit a support ticket through the Microsoft Partner Network on https://mspartner.microsoft.com. Under the “Support” tab, select “Contact Support.” When the portal opens, select “Partner Incentives” as your Category. You are then able to choose your Topic and Issue.
